i am trying to install debian linux ppc from ftp on to a power mac 6500/250 with 32mb ram and 40gb hard drive. i can not get the machine to boot off of the rescue floppy image. it just ejects the disk and continues booting mac os. also is there any way to use debian on an old world system and not need to use bootx and have a mac os partition.
