the default woody kernel in kernel-image-2.2.19-pmac Version: 2.2.19-3.1 which has CONFIG_MAC_ADBKEYCODES=n therefore it boots using linux keycodes and REQUIRES that you use linux keymaps, this kernel is used for boot-floppies (the next build will automatically use it since its in woody now). i have fixed boot-floppies to no longer include nor offer adb keymaps during the keyboard config step, it will immediatly from boot on use linux keycodes, debootstrap will install the console-data packages from woody which also by default configure and use linux keymaps, not mac keymaps. default woody installs will be using linux keycodes very the very first boot of the boot-floppies on, no questions asked and no option to do otherwise. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
