You have to install one of the kernel packages in woody: apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.8-powerpc OR apt-get install kernel-image-2.2.19-pmac If you're using ybin/yaboot with a normal configuration then this is all you need to do. With other bootloaders you may need to copy the kernel to an appropriate location and configure your bootloader.
