1. Boot off the Mac OS CD
2. Run Drive Setup
3. Select the drive with the partition on it
4. Go to "Volume Settings..."
5. Select the partition(s) you want to format HFS(+)
6. Check the box "Mount at startup"
7. Hit "OK"
8. Quit Drive Setup and reboot from the Mac OS CD
9. When you boot back to Mac OS, it should ask whether you want to
format those drives
Worked for me at any rate. (My wife told me I should have created a
an HFS partition at the beginning of the disk, to be deleted and broken
into correct Apple_Bootstrap and Linux partitions, and one at the end
for Mac OS using Drive Setup, but I didn't listen to her, and had to do
this the hard way too, by starting with mac-fdisk.)
