I have installed debian 2.2r3 on an icebook and upgraded the kernel to 2.4.9-benh0 and Xfree to 4.1.0-2 from unstable. I have copied the XF86Config-4 from:
http://www.xiph.org/~jack/ibook/XF86Config-4 After X starts the keyboard map is totally screwed up. Another strange I noticed is that unlike in Linux x86 the X root window appear only after an event is generated (mouse movement, keypress, etc.) Any ideas? Thanks much, -Arrigo
