Since apple has removed all choice in video hardware for its desktop machines i thought it would be useful to create a page on penguinppc.org with recommendations for the best replacement video hardware.
would anyone like to put together a few details such as: * 2 or 3 recommended cards. * how to be sure one is getting a fully OpenFirmware compatible card. * a few vendors known to stock the hardware. * maybe a link or a small page to explain how to remove the useless card from the machine and install the replacement, for those who don't have much experience with taking apart computer hardware. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
