Hi all, For those of you using the newest benh kernels with PMAC_APM_EMU, here's my experience:
PMAC_APM_EMU does _not_ mean that you should use the apmd package (i386 power management daemon). What it does is translate the status messages from pmud (Powerpc power management daemon) so that the Gnome Battery monitor Applet and others works on the PowerPC platform as well.
