Hi ! I rsynced the 2.4-benh from penguinppc the last 3 days and compiled many kernels that had a problem with dmasound. Driver initialize:
dmasound_pmac: Awacs/Screamer Codec Mfct: 1 Rev 3 PowerMac Screamer DMA sound driver rev 016 installed Core driver edition 01.06 : PowerMac Built-in Sound driver edition 00.06 Write will use 4 fragments of 32768 bytes as default Read will use 4 fragments of 32768 bytes as default and later I get : dmasound_pmac: error 2 And if I do cat vmlinux > /dev/dsp I get Device or resource busy.
