Hmm...so with the current state of kernels and patches I can either
get a readable console or a journaling file system, but not both?
It seems XFS for ppc comes with it's own kernel source code (2.4.2),
which means 3dfx is out.
Of course, I haven't even gotten to the problem of XFree4, yet...
