Someone told me that an old version of MacOS, 7.5, is available for free from Apple: http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/artnum/n11258. This is interesting for me because I bought my computer with MacOS on it, but I don't have a way to reinstall MacOS, so I'm afraid of screwing it up if I break the existing installation of MacOS. (A macos 8.1 CD I borrowed from a friend tells me it will only install on G3 computers, and exits. I hacked around that somewhat, and got some of the system to actually install, but I don't think it would work if I just booted off it. crappy installer...) I haven't spent much time trying to figure out quik, but I'll do that eventually.
Comments, anyone? how bad is 7.5.5? -- #define X(x,y) x##y Peter Cordes ; e-mail: X([EMAIL PROTECTED] , ns.ca) "The gods confound the man who first found out how to distinguish the hours!
