Yeah, the order is critical, the Fn key *must* be the last key before F{1-6}, otherwise it won't work. It only took me 6 months to figure that one out... Has anyone else noticed that hitting Shift + Fn + Ctrl and then Cmd/Apple appears to trigger 'shutdown -r now' just like Ctrl-Alt-Del under x86? I found that one accidentally while trying to switch virtaul consoles. jas.
