Thanks for the tip. Let me spell it out a little to make sure I get it. I have downloaded the directory from the "/Powermac" folder level, meaning I have Powermac/Images-1.44/(contents) on a hfs zip drive. When the installer asks for directions to my Debian Archive I enter /current mirror/instmnt/powermac ? Is that right? Regards Michael
