macos on some oldworlds resets the nvram configuration, but if macos
is not getting a chance to load that is strange..

well ofpath comes from ybin, so even if ybin was its own package it
wouldn't make any more sense then it does now since ybin is newworld
only except for ofpath.  it would be rather gross to have the ybin
source in two different packages.  

yaboot is in the base system and priority standard so it should be
installed on all debian systems anyway, and it is out of the way and
unobtrusive (and very small) so its not a big deal to just install
it.

it will inform you that the machine is unsupported.
