Yes, been using zope for a few months.

Not really, theres a fair bit of learning involved to get working with DTML - 
but - Zope does allow use of HTML and 'structured text' which is parsed into 
HTML. Very simple to learn and ideal for people who dont/wont/cant learn HTML. 
Zope also has very good separation of code, format, and content. 

I also reccomend the CMF, an addon for Zope that makes portals and company 
intranet sites a breeze. Still in development but very functional already.
Give it a look - its all free :)
