I am using Potato with kernel 2.2.18 on a PowerCenter. For some time this has been a stable combination, but once in a while my computer freezes and I have to hit the power switch. I can't find any clues on the cause of this in /var/log/messages. I think this occurs when I'm downloading files via ftp but I am not sure if there is any relationship. Does anyone have any idea on where else to look? Also, www.kernel.org says 2.4 is the latest stable kernel. Should I be using 2.4 instead? Regards, Taro -- Taro Fukunaga [EMAIL PROTECTED]
