I recently bought a Titanium PowerBook G4 and would like to install a flavour of Linux on it. Having never installed Linux before in any form, I would like to get a realistic opinion on whether or not I should try to make debian my first attempt, or opt for something that appears "simpler," such as LinuxPPC 2000 Q4. I'm not unfamiliar with computers, just Linux/Unix.
