Or is there an easier way out? you can use the xf68fb server in 3.3.6 and it works, I did this for the first day I had my pismo, then I decided it was too darn slow and compiled xfree 4 from source (Ani's tree (dang I cant type the name Ani without thinking of the fol singer, oh well)) So X is available however it is not hard, just tedious and long winded, to download the debian X sources and build with dpkg-buildpackage, it will give you the best of all worlds (well those worlds in which you wish to participate, namely debian potato) if you do though I suspect.
