Alienated RPMs have worked fine for me so far.

I'll jump into this one, too... I'm a Linux newbie, but I ran alien
on the RPM and it converted to a .deb package just fine. But after
installing it and following the documentation for MOL, I got this:

yeti:~# strip_nwrom "/mnt/System Folder/Mac OS ROM" /usr/lib/mol/rom/rom.nw
yeti:~# startmol

Does anyone have an idea as to what the next step is? Do I have to
upgrade my kernel? I ran apt-get install update and received a
message that I have the most current version.

As a beginner, I'd appreciate any advice from the more savvy.

Thanks,

Chris

The plan was simple. Unfortunately, so was Bullwinkle.
