in the word document you say to configure fbdev and ati i dont understand why you would do both
i have gotten X to work on my lombard using fbdev as my driver but not ati. and fbdev sees that my hardware is ATY Mach64 but i suppose this is not the same as having the ati driver? no accel? i use the latest yaboot to boot. anyway when i use ati i get the following error: (WW) ATI: PCI Mach64 in slot 0:17:0 could not be detected! See README.ati for details and then it says Fatal Screen Error: No Screens Found even though the screen works fine with fbdev with a depth of 24 and Fbbpp of 32 i'll continue to play around with it of course.. yours, steven alyari
