yes, see man quik.conf > To set MacOS up with lilo, it would something like this? > > other = /dev/hda1 > table = /dev/hda > label = MacOS heh no ;-) quik does have an ability to boot macos but im not sure it works, iirc it looks something likes this: $bye label=macos that might not be right, but what that is supposed to do is run the OF command `bye' which usually boots macos on oldworld machines. another way that might work (assuming i have that $ syntax right) is $boot /AAPL,ROM label=macos this would actually be the `correct' way to do things. one caveat, on some oldworld machines MacOS, or the MacROM reset the nvram settings to default on every boot, which would mean once you boot macos you lose the boot-device setting and quik won't load anymore, you would then have to use the BootVars app to change it back. it would be a good idea to write down what you get out of ofpath and put into OF. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
