You can do one of three things: - Force the deps, and hope it doesn't come back to haunt you. libssl09 is only used for secure sites. - Alinate or compile libssl - Or best yet, add a non-us site to your sources.list (like http://non-us.debian.org). The standard Debian site can't carry it, as it's in the US, and covered by the ever so stupid crypto laws. :( [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/mp3$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list # main deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main # contrib/non-free deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian potato contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US contrib deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US non-free deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable contrib non-free deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US contrib deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US non-free # Non Offical (KDE 2, etc.) deb http://southpole.penguinpowered.com/debian unstable kde2 -- Andrew B.
