> Are you sure gpm isn't running? (check with ps aux|grep gpm) It doesn't seem to be. I even purged gpm with dpkg. I don't know if I changed anything else while nessing around with gpm. My XFree86Config file has device set to /dev/mouse and protocol BusMouse, which is what was working before.
