sorry i missed this question, no yaboot does not give you a graphical menu, its a cross of LILO and OpenFirmware for interface, when it loads it just prints:
Welcome to yaboot 0.5 boot:where you either pick a defined image (from the configuration file) or type in an OpenFirmware device path to your kernel.
