What is the best combination of the TERM env variable and the font in the
GNOME terminal for ncurses and similar apps to look like in console?
My best guess so far is TERM=color_xterm, but this lacks the graphical symbols
(at least with the lucida typewriter font). TERM=linux gives nonsensical chars
instead of the symbols.
