I've done an install on a StarMax (Tanzania mobo). I had to hack up a couple install images to do it from floppy since the kernel-image included is missing a couple things. This is why I've been a little quiet lately...when really giving IDE a workout on PReP boxes we found a lot of problems not only there but in the interrupt handling. We are currently working on getting the IDE support into openproject CVS and trying to fix the interrupt handling (somebody shoot the IBM engineer with primary IDE routed to legacy IRQ13).
