Yes, you can send the adb_button (something like that) kernel
parameter at boot-time and have certain keys be mouse buttons 2 and 3.
This has the advantage over some X hack that it will work outside of
X, such as with gdm.
I don't have the parameters off the top of my head, though. Check the
BootX docs, maybe.
