Has anyone worked out that this problem is? Similar things happen with squid on my system (and I think others have a similar problem with MySQL).
Also, I can't seem to get gdb working... I'm used to "gdb PROGRAM", then "run" etc. If I could get gdb to work, then I could get a better idea of why slapd/squid/mysqld are crashing. My dpkg -l list is attached for reference - any help appreciated (or if people can send me the output of their dpkg -l for comparison if they have slapd/squid/mysqld running successfully. The version on Debian PPC seems to want me to set the target (which I then do) and then it starts complaining about not supporting shared-libs. ???
