Hi all, when trying to install the netatalk package I got serious trouble. During installation dselect runs the configuration scripts which try to start the appletalk daemons. In my case this resulted in a kernel panic. Booting the system in the normal way fails at the stage where the appletalk daemons have to be launched. I attached the output of dpkg and the last kernel message.
