I had gotten the kernel source from 2.1.125 and from then on I only applied the patches. I also applied the macX mouse patches and the samba semaphore patches (those that broke 2.2.2). Now this kernel is the most stable I ever had. It has not hard crashed on me yet (well only once, but that was on a time that I pushed the machine to a cpu load of 12 and a filled swap!). -- Konstantinos Margaritis -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.0i for non-commercial use MessageID: fZlgJl1f21lPalrvi0ajjHi6UvtTNu4G iQEVAwUBNu75EHLbhkskV78BAQGVewgApC6D1CIbSezyfR5TefH24NfgGMQpqJYh xn/UE+Ig54+2ZtC7soNkU8gsN5Kr1MYK0bka27y69c/nMz0tEpN8JFnPvSAgLsaC eFip/FA6XkMaQSYhwgeFIbOHgK2yStaKjM7rVkszxlFdR7nGDlwwLCUPUOG6ZKDD MsH9Cbf1HuC/bBhWIb8FQr3ptVEw2QS5oMSc7CrlduO4hZE2qtpRnhhFx39jpkzC wSYFAYZJlk3KIcYfD9xvZYsbtjhSxFyI4fhYT6EeL3EIeE7XKChy+qbgjSZRdRDq Dl8J9tBqUl+8bv4Qgcg6CZ7nUteSQq7kW+ybfgqdp013xr1IOkMM6w== =GBQS -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
