The new egcs is even faster (at least on memory access). I ran a small memory benchmark and it produced better results (I did the test twice and without any other cpu load). The kernel (2.2.3) also compiles cleanly and runs very stably (at least till now). I have made the new qt .debs and now that I am officially a developer (glad to be on the Debian train!) I will upload them RSN... (hm... 'man dupload' :). What packages do you suggest I try dealing with? -- Konstantinos Margaritis "Can't possibly describe my life in a 2-line signature..." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.0i for non-commercial use MessageID: cdGjRP45NZSOfSf0Qe1jByEvdr7S9w4X iQEVAwUBNu5P83LbhkskV78BAQElYQf7BXt6JlOZXUjNS+1YYkCExe8MCf2zUDDt 117+ptVAygB5IN/Mma2JxhKUA463KRT1Tb+CmcKLgW+ojEiyG69MCQDOJUahiDlu p7uCtAvI2L9b2X2H56Y5X7H9pyevEHG2AcDIGB/rqHxCuZ+pUXDntI4kxBYDtW0b o8wb1Ltqf4hCTxlZW46TPlAKeldFatMu5szX8I+D6t9ICi/lnuNZsuJA8wssnH9Z 87w60yheqjDhAb18GtSSFbzFHdgS8RFtXwAyuD/6Qw6YsqMj6CK1Lt1/txCP1/Bo UX4Wm3etlD5UDUi1qKhvhhWDsPMxmFXUvQcOwiWBFwvu10ARN0BypA== =HUnK -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
