Please grep also the kernel source for > Hartmut> '__setfpucw'. Possible it is #difdef __KERNEL__ ... #endif kernel 2.2.1, complete search for setfpu produced no results at all. It's not kernel specific, but probably libm. -msoft-float produces the same results. >On an Intel system __setfpucw is defined in > /usr/include/fpu_control.h >I'm not sure about the powerpc. it is the same on a ppc too. The file gets included in system.c, that way there are no warnings as to an undeclared/undefined function. The problem is that there is no such funcion in libm. Only in libc. -- Konstantinos Margaritis [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.0i for non-commercial use MessageID: 86Bvgb+8prqAWXtA7LluweWffGYY7l08 iQEVAwUBNtXIgHLbhkskV78BAQESSQf+Pj/DOAvlFY9qPmia6/IMRL0iffKw8Aum KGe23kuReKkpnwYeTW0DCR7t0QzSFtUfv2tUMFaYe4/tKkIgS4iVvGJBsLTRoEY1 7FFO4nagkV6p25XZAXryycZClROtF6o5GkJJVs9DnNx9FDFhI9Gho9milU4m7vTX jhdE8tidGrHoa2MxSU86bDAO62XU5nhMwnOLb4i4fQ1YpTSPP05G7rsf25tehwwI Ck8A5/cng2SDmxmCYOx15UaCfzPD7Y75hiHHmPjTFh6Nb9F5SGguDQ8j0lCzmTQ6 ANsgaFgo/0CUSPOsYxBKJ0NUNbfQw20WP1AMQY7h2tP2yB06sBh0lw== =R8Fn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
