Hello all. I'm brand new to this list and don't even have debian... yet.
I'm running linuxppc for now. Already switched from MkLinux. Machine: PPC 7200/120 48M RAM. My main interst in Linux operating system could be justified by the desire to use some of the audio apps available for linux. Hence the first question : how's the sound working on debian (and MIDI if any). Second question, how hard is it to move from linuxppc to debian. I really don't appreciate the fact that linuxppc went commercial. I assume of course that all the apps that work under linuxppc will run under debian... Any insight in the above matters would be greatly appreciated. Hint and ideas, too. Thanks Mike
