Hello, ... I have been home for lunchand got the messages i had, as well as made some additional tests.
i get : Enterring Runlevel 2 network daemons : portmap inetd INIT : Id "1" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : Id "2" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : Id "3" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : Id "4" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : Id "5" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : Id "6" respawning too fast, disabled for 5 minutes INIT : No more processes left in this run level ... nothing else, but then i didn't wait 5 minutes to see if something happens. what is this ? a problem with init ? i removed /etc/rc.2/S18netbase (or something similar) and the same happens after klogd and another one get launched. Also the /dev/ttyS0 message is : /dev/ttyS0 at 0x0000 (irq=0) is undefined. Friendly, Sven LUTHER
