No idea, the timebase looks suspisious though, but i don't know what it is. > $ cat /proc/version > Linux version 2.6.11-pseries ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 3.4.4 (Debian > 3.4.4-0ubuntu3)) #1 SMP Fri Jun 3 17:32:34 UTC 2005 > > $ grep PM72 /boot/config-2.6.11-p* > /boot/config-2.6.11-power4-smp:CONFIG_THERM_PM72=y > /boot/config-2.6.11-pseries:# CONFIG_THERM_PM72 is not set > > it is still as noisy as in an aircraft here :) Ok, i think benh said never kernels had less troubles, but i guess by newer kernels he meant 2.6.12-rcsomething ones. We can either wait for 2.6.12 which should be soon now, or backport the fixes. Or go for a 2.6.12-rc<something> kernel. > $ grep ALTIVEC /boot/config-2.6.11-p* > /boot/config-2.6.11-power4-smp:# CONFIG_ALTIVEC is not set > /boot/config-2.6.11-pseries:CONFIG_ALTIVEC=y > > nice, thanks Indeed.
