Mmm, seems like i missed a lot of discussion here which was not CCed to me, will keep up. There is a new kernel done : http://people.debian.org/~luther/powerpc/2.6.11 (symlink from the old one provided) it includes an uninorth agp sleep patch, but it did not fix sleep when X is enabled on my ibook G3/800.
