Hello, I've very nearly got my Powerbook to be as functional as I'd like it under Debian. I've read this page http://www.mathematik.uni-marburg.de/~schmidtm/apple/powerbook.en.php and it talks about getting suspend to disk working. However, there are no instructions at all and a search on Google reveals very little information that is relevant.
