Hello, Thought that I'd report the success I've had with compiling rivafb in the kernel. The latest kernel doesn't need the rivafb patch, which is cool. I now get to dim the backlight of my LCD. GREAT! Thanks a lot to the guys who had discussed this issue before on this mailing list.
