Hello, I've written a patch to add a footnote with a list of licenses that are thought not to require the copying of all copyright notices into Debian's copyright file. This does not need seconding, because footnotes are not normative, but I haven't committed this patch yet because I wanted to see if others have reasons not to include something like this in the Policy Manual. diff --git a/debian/changelog b/debian/changelog index 7878523..5abe5bb 100644 --- a/debian/changelog +++ b/debian/changelog @@ -2,6 +2,9 @@ debian-policy (4.3.0.4) UNRELEASED; urgency=medium * Fix reference to FHS section in Policy 9.1.2.
