While I think this should be obviously documented in policy. I'm not planning on removing the "spec" from dpkg itself, because it's been my growing opinion that dpkg should be self-contained when it comes to the documentation about every of the interfaces it uses and provides. More so because dpkg is used beyond Debian, and in many places it has no saying on policies (vs. mechanisms), and in others it allows things that Debian policy does not. I could perhaps consider removing the debhelper keyword mention from there because it feels like a layer violation, but I'm not overly bothered. Thanks, Guillem
