Hi, policy (v4.0.0) refers in section 10.4 to version v3 of the posix standard, which dates back to 2004. This seems terribly outdated, it isn't even any longer available on the opengroup web site. The latest version is 4.2 and was published in 2016, and the previous versions still available on the opengroup web page are v4 (from 2008) and v4.1 (from 2013).
Any reason not to update to 4.2? Should I file a bug against debian-policy for that? -Ralf.
