Unfortunately, multiple patches on the same bug, some with revisions, some of which were seconded and some of which weren't, ended up being rather hard to dig through. (Not your fault: it was a perfectly reasonable way to contribute to any other package. This one is just rather weird, probably more weird than it needs to be.)
