Cool. I thought of something like: <virtual package name> icon theme compliant to the freedesktop.org Icon Naming Specification As for the package name itself, I like fdo-icon-theme. Would that be too specific? I wonder if something more generic like desktop-icon-theme would be more appropriate. Since there has been no discussion in debian-devel, I found it unnecessary to summarize the outcome of the discussion here.
