Package: developers-reference Version: 3.4.3 Severity: normal As far as I can tell (in particular from policy 3.3) a non-working maintainer email violates a must policy directive, and is thus a serious bug. If this is the case, perhaps the paragraph about sending email to the maintainer should have a note to this effect. That is, I think it is probably worth distinguishing here between email that bounces and a non-responsive maintainer.
