It just a problem of what you and me can understand as a functionality. You use the ispell example and I can use the openoffice.org-l10n-2.2 virtual package that works exactly as we say wims-extra should work: providing a functionality to a metapackage. Anyway, I don't care about it anymore, as Magnus Holmgren said in a previous comment to this bug, we can use it "privately, amongst a cooperating group of packages", and that's probably the rightest solution to this issue.
