If you're going to do that (and I'm certainly not objecting), it's probably worth tidying up the terminology used in 2.2 and 2.4 (and the introduction to section 2, in fact). What 2.2 and 2.4 refer to as categories are "components" as far as apt and dak (and therefore the Debian archive) are concerned. 2.4 also contains The `Section' field should be of the form: * _section_ if the package is in the _main_ category, * _segment/section_ if the package is in the _contrib_ or _non-free_ distribution areas. using "category", "segment"and "distribution area" to refer to the same thing within a single paragraph.
