Why on earth should debian init scripts follow the
requirements for distribution agnostic packaging? Debian packages are
meant to run on Debian systems, and we can depend on things in debian policy
Debian policy is for Debian packages. LSB is for LSB compliant
third party packages. All Debian has to do is make sure the LSB
packages can run on Debian machines.
