Technically this would have been accepted some days ago, but I only now got around to changing the bug status. There has not been much discussion and no outright disagreement with this small policy change (this bug #100472 was mentioned in another thread about relaxed interpretation of the policy as unnecessary; I disagree, in these cases it's not only if we have to deviate from policy but also how). -- Andreas E.
