FYI, the build daemons assume debhelper is build essential just to
preserve sanity. That does not make build-deps any less important,
however[1].

[1] I am not supporting this mass bug reporting. He filed a bug on the
potato version of my package, when clearly the woody version has had
buildeps for over a month (can we say pissed?)
