Right, we just saw 5 people post `me too' because of the current policy process.
I think we should implement the process I sent out in a draft a week or two ago. No-one seemed to object very much (though perhaps people were just tired, and Manoj probably still objects). If we are to implement this the only things left to be decided are: * Identities of the chairs of the policy group; * Identities of the maintainers of (parts of) the policy manual. So, please, last call for comments on my proposed new policy process ? If we achieve agreement then probably the best thing to do is for me to collect the names of volunteers, and collate them and publish them here for us to discuss. (I think having everyone posting an `I volunteer' is unlikely to be very constructive ...) Ian.
