I still think sbuild is the way to go. Since it already handles local overrides, downloading/installing/removing packages needed to do the building as well as removing/installing packages that were shifted from the Build-* deps once the build is complete. On top of that, it can download the sources by specific version and distribution and it's already well tested and proven. Ben
